ECU Repairs and ECU Decodes. Welcome to Bluehawk Electronics. We specialise in the test and repair of automotive ECUs (Electronic Control Units).

We have developed our own dedicated testing rig, which can be used to test virtually any type of ECU. The test rig is not available to buy on the open market and has been designed specifically for testing ECUs.

It requires a skilled technician to use the rig and works by simulating all the inputs that the ECU would see under normal operation in a vehicle. For example :-

Engine Speed
Road Speed
Temperature
Manifold Vacuum
Throttle Position
Barometric Pressure

This allows the technician to put the ECU through a full range of operating conditions. The rig also connects the ECU to a range of output actuators that it would have to control on a real car, ie ignition coil, injectors, relays, solenoid valves etc.
