Registered Mental Health Nurse

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Mental Health Nurse to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Nottinghamshire area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

This hospital provides acute adult mental health services. Our client provides treatment programmes to optimise patient recovery and potential by treating and minimising risk behaviours as well as enabling patients to develop physiological and emotional, social and occupational skills and resilience.

As a Nurse your day to day duties will include:
• Providing a high standard of care to people with mental illness and personality disorder
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
• At a more senior level, you’ll also need to lead shifts as well as mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team

An ideal Nurse must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:
• A relevant nursing qualification and registration
• Excellent team working skills, a high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach – Their units operate 24 hours 7 days a week, and our nursing staff work shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays and nights.
• A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
• The drive to continually push your own personal learning and developments

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent annual salary of £29,252.70 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role and has flexible hours available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
