Lead Clinical Psychologist
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Clinical Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Arnold, Nottinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides acute adult mental health services, delivered in partnership with the areas healthcare trust. They have a Medium Secure Services on site for patients with a learning disability, and we are looking to develop other service types in the future
As the Lead Clinical Psychologist your key responsiblities include:
• Lead and deliver a high quality, evidence based psychological service for males and females across both Acute and PICU settings
• Undertake complex assessments and risk assessment
• Develop comprehensive formulations and deliver specialist individual and group treatments relevant to the service
• Provide clinical supervision for qualified and assistant psychologists, deliver reflective practice and develop and deliver training packages for staff of other disciplines, as required
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Excellent organisational ability and well developed interpersonal skills
• Able to communicate effectively both orally and in written form
• Able to work autonomously and also to perform effectively within a multi-disciplinary team is essential
• An interest in conducting clinically relevant research would be helpful
• Experience of working within ACUTE/PICU settings is highly desirable
The successful Lead Clinical Psychologist will receive an excellent salary of £55,825 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
