Lead Occupational Therapist & Team Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Occupational Therapist & Team Manager to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Arnold, Nottinghamshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides acute adult mental health services, delivered in partnership with the areas healthcare trust. They have a Medium Secure Services on site for patients with a learning disability, and we are looking to develop other service types in the future
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Promote the role of Occupational Therapy as a specific treatment intervention within the field of Acute and Psychiatric Intensive Care for Adult Mental Health
• Act as an expert within the specialist clinical field, contributing to service and organisational development initiatives, and participating in the relevant company sectors
• To take responsibility for the professional supervision of the professional practice of the OT Team members
• To ensure that all Occupational Therapy Service colleagues adhere to professional standards and College of Occupational Therapy Code of Conduct guidelines
• To take responsibility for the performance management of the Occupational Therapy service, including issues relating to professional practice, appraisals, grievances or professional disputes
The successful Lead Occupational Therapist & Team Manager will receive an excellent salary of £41,500 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
